A member of the Middelburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) requested assistance in arranging a meeting with the Department of Trade Industry and Competition. They were interested in the DTIC investment incentives, as they planning a development of a particular industry. 

How many public meetings are held by different organisations about funding, loans, Just Energy Transition or by many other organisations? The venues are overflowing with people interested in the funding available, but how to access that funding seems daunting. Some of the DTIC incentives available to businesses are related to innovation, manufacturing support, and agricultural processing. 

MCCI used our contacts and arranged a morning where four of our members met with Mr Lubisi, the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Client Services (Mpumalanga). Each member had an hour to discuss their projects in confidence. It was a valuable hour for our members present, as they were able to learn where and how to apply for the available funding. Andile Nqandela, Brimis Engineering, said, “Another great opportunity provided by MCCI.” Lubisi commented that it was a valuable event with quality companies able to take advantage of the DTIC incentives.
