On 3 June 2026 at 10:00, the Olifants to Loskop Tourism meeting took place at Loskop Dam Forever Resort, bringing together 17 passionate attendees from across the tourism sector. The atmosphere was energetic, positive, and full of ideas as we continue building something truly special for our region. 

One of the biggest highlights was the incredible progress of our LTO Tourism Map project, which is now almost completely sold out, showing just how much excitement and support there is for local tourism growth! 

We also explored exciting future possibilities, including a fun-filled watersports day that could bring visitors, families, and adventure seekers together to celebrate our beautiful destination. 

Members were encouraged to actively submit events happening in their areas so we can promote them on our website calendar and Facebook page, helping shine a spotlight on everything our region has to offer. 

We also had important discussions around current tourism challenges, including rising fuel costs affecting travel, and how we can work together creatively to keep tourism thriving and growing stronger. 

A huge thank you goes to Loskop Dam Forever Resort for generously sponsoring the venue and providing refreshments, your support helped make the day even more welcoming and enjoyable. 

We are also very excited about our next meeting, where OHS Academy will be presenting valuable training opportunities and insights into the tourism and hospitality industry, an opportunity not to be missed! 

The meeting was filled with energy, collaboration, and real momentum for the future of tourism in the Olifants to Loskop region.
