A fantastic turnout, new faces and exciting tourism developments for Middelburg & Loskop!
The latest LTO Sip & Support Tourism Meeting, held on 3 September at Destiny Hotels & Convention Centre, was a great success! We were excited to welcome many new faces to the tourism community, showing that interest in growing Middelburg and Loskop as a tourism destination continues to build.
A DECEMBER TO REMEMBER!
A proposed two-week December Tourism Campaign will bring festive energy to Middelburg, with daily activities at different locations. Tourism establishments are encouraged to submit their December events and activities for inclusion and promotion through digital and social media.
THE BIG FIVE COULD BE COMING TO LOSKOP!
We Wild Africa shared an exciting vision for the Loskop Dam area, including wildlife conservation, rewilding and the potential development of a Big Five tourism destination. Around R10 million has already been invested in the reserve, with exciting opportunities for local businesses and communities on the horizon.

With new faces joining the conversation and exciting projects ahead, collaboration is more important than ever. Tourism establishments are encouraged to get involved, join the MCCI/LTO network and take part in future initiatives.
