You will gain an insight into the complex technical and metallurgical processes and safety requirements necessary to produce stainless steel. The date for the next tour is 21 June 2024 and a guide will take you on a tour of the huge plant, which lasts around four hours. Columbus Stainless (Pty) Ltd will provide you with safety equipment and you just need to wear sensible shoes.
