Mr. Mahesh Kumar, the Consul General of India in Johannesburg, was warmly greeted by Moeketsi Mpotu, the President of Middelburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), and other MCCI executive members during his visit to Middelburg on 16 May 2024.

Discussions between members and Indian representatives focused on identifying opportunities and synergies for mutual gain. Several members of MCCI had already established trade relations with India. Kumar agreed to coordinate meetings tailored to specific sectors for the business community in Middelburg.
