MCCI is known for its innovative projects, and with our partner MEDO and our sponsor ABSA we have completed another successful project. 

The Mpumalanga Enterprise Development Organisation (MEDO) hosted a three-day workshop on Financial Management for Non-Financial Managers for the Middelburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). Members who attended the event were not only enthusiastic about the training that was sponsored, but also about how they can access funding. 

ABSA sponsored a business breakfast to round off the event. At this event, ABSA representatives answered members’ questions about loans and grants, and finally, the synergies between MCCI members and a corporate member were brought together. 

“ABSA offers crucial incentives for SMEs, such as business insurance and receivables management, financial support and legal advisors and accountants,” said Nomagugu Mvelase after she attended the event. 

Other members are also welcome to support such a project as part of the partnership between MCCI and MEDO. Our business and community networks are on a different level and our expertise lies in people-to-people events. This is a great way to foster business relationships.
